Praise and Prayer Requests for Central CEF^®

April 2004 Praises:

1. Praise the Lord for two new Good News Clubs® that will be starting in April! One club will be at Houghton Lake Community Schools (Roscommon County) and one at Blanchard Elementary School (Isabella County)!
2. Praise the Lord for the many contacts in Roscommon County (new area)!
3. Praise the Lord for the excellent Good News Clubs® at Shepherd Elementary School (Isabella County) and Barryton Elementary School (Mecosta County)! There have been 27 children come with two new wonderful helpers attending.
4. Praise the Lord for the 3 children saved recently at two ministry opportunities in Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County)!
5. Praise the Lord for the Teaching Children Effectively™ class that just finished in Remus (Mecosta County) with 6 wonderful students! Also,
   I am thankful to have been involved in teaching another Teaching Children Effectively™ class in Montcalm County.

April 2004 Prayer Requests:

1. Please pray for MUCH NEEDED financial support. The opportunities are much greater than the resources, at this point, and fiscally Central CEF is in the red.
2. Please pray for a Good News Club® to start at Weidman Elementary School  (Isabella County). I will try again to talk to the principal.
3. Please continue to pray for teens to be interested in being summer missionaries with CEF. Almost all of my former Christian Youth in Action® teens are doing other ministries or jobs this summer.
4. Please continue to pray for Joseph Kavuli (Regional Director of CEF in East and Central Africa). His ministry and church in Africa are very much in need of everything. My prayer is that Central CEF and others may help his ministry to the children there in Africa. I am meeting with Joseph in April as he is in Michigan for a short visit. I hope to discuss with him some plans for, Lord willing, my return trip to Africa in November.
