Praises:

1. Praise the Lord for a new Good News Club that has started in Big Rapids. It is at a housing project and 14 children are coming.

2. Praise the Lord for the Teaching Children Effectively class that has started in Oscoda, MI. I am working with another director and we have six students!!

3. Praise the Lord for Nathan Wood! He is a 9 year old from Shepherd who used to attend one of our Good News Clubs held at his school. He loved hearing about Africa in our Missions Lessons. He raised $1000 in 2004 for a well in Kenya and is now raising money for Bibles. Nathan wants to be a missionary when he grows up. I think that he is one now!

4. Praise the Lord for some recent financial gifts to the ministry!

Prayer Requests:

5. Please pray for many 5 Day Clubs in neighborhoods, trailer parks, apartment complexes, housing projects, etc. this summer. May children's hearts be open and attentive to the Savior's call.

6. Please pray for teens to take the Christian Youth in Action training this summer. We need teens to help teach the 5 Day Clubs in the five counties of Central MI.

7. Please continue to pray for Central's finances. The chapter needs at least $2000 a month to operate and we regularly receive between $600-$800 a month. As the ministry is continuing to grow, Jim and I need more churches and individuals willing to become regular supporters. Please pray as it is for the children of Central MI!
