Urgent Prayer Request!

Praise and Prayer Requests for Central CEF®


September 2004 Praises:

  1. Praise the Lord for an AWESOME summer!!  Central had ministry in five counties with sixteen 5-Day Clubs®, five Vacation Bible Schools, four fairs, two other CEF outreaches, and three teacher-training sessions!!  PTL!!!
  2. Praise the Lord for the 690 children reached this summer with 27 children
    3. responding to the gospel of Jesus Christ!
  3. Praise the Lord for safety in traveling over 5500 miles!
  4. Praise the Lord for my husband’s continual support!
  5. Praise the Lord for Phyllis Milks who traveled and taught clubs with me!
  6. Praise the Lord for Maranatha Baptist Church (Isabella County)!  Through their Vacation Bible School, they were able to raise over $1500 to help send me back to Kenya!
  7. Praise the Lord for the first CEF-sponsored Concert Fundraiser at Evangelical Free Church in Gaylord, MI on August 7th.  It helped to raise awareness of CEF and our need of increased financial support.
  8. Praise the Lord for more contacts for more Good News Clubs® this fall than
    9. ever before in Central CEF!

September 2004 Prayer Requests:

  1. Please pray for ministry in the Big Rapids area.  I have had little response there.
  2. Please pray that God would “raise up” 20 people to help Central CEF.
  3. There is a great need for teachers, helpers, volunteers, etc., as the ministry, thankfully, continues to escalate!
  4. Please pray for MUCH NEEDED financial support.  The opportunities are much greater than the resources right now.  I did not receive any pay for summer ministries and only partial reimbursements.  Thank you!
  5. Please pray for Frank Terry’s family (Central CEF’s chairman) as his family is facing health concerns.
