Praise and Prayer Requests for Central CEF®

Summer 2004 Praises

  1. Praise the Lord for Roscommon County and two churches that want teacher training this summer!
  2. Praise the Lord for the many Good News Clubs held in local schools this past year.  We had 4 more clubs this school year than last year!  PTL!!
  3. Praise the Lord for the numerous 5-Day Clubs®, Vacation Bible Schools, and fairs already scheduled for the Central area this summer of ’04!
  4. Praise the Lord for the wonderful CEF National Conference on “Children in Crisis” in North Carolina.  It was a real blessing and very informative.
  5. Praise the Lord for my visit with Joseph Kavuli, CEF Regional Director of East and Central Africa, in April.  He does want me to return to Kenya and visit Uganda at the end of this year.  If God approves, I would go to assist in training of African teenagers to do 5-Day Clubs and “Open Air” in their respective countries in December of 2004 and January of 2005.
  6. Praise the Lord for the first CEF-sponsored Golf Tournament at the Gaylord County Club in Gaylord, MI on May 22nd.   It helped to raise some funds and awareness of CEF in Northern and Central MI.
  7. Praise the Lord for Phyllis Milks from Clare who is willing to help teach this summer!

Summer 2004 Prayer Requests:

  1. Please pray that many children will come to the 5-Day Clubs, Vacation Bible
  2. Schools, and fairs this summer and many accept Christ as Savior.
  3. Please pray as I head to Christian Youth In Action® in Grand Rapids in June
  4. to help train Michigan CEF summer missionaries that God would use me in a mighty way!
  5. Please pray that God would “raise up” 20 people to help Central CEF.  There is a great need for teachers, helpers, volunteers, etc., as the ministry, thankfully, continues to escalate!
  6. Please pray for MUCH NEEDED financial support.  The opportunities are much greater than the resources.
