"Alex" is a boy that came to our Good News Club at Blanchard
Elementary School. After about 300 flyers being passed out throughout
the grades, three children came to our first club and Alex was one of
them. He was full of questions during our club time together and
I knew God was preparing his heart for acceptance of His Son. When the
invitation was given, his hand went up quickly and he asked "Jesus to
come into his heart". Alex is now going to church on a regular basis and
growing in the Lord!!!!

Major Saltee (Salvation Army of Mt. Pleasant)
and I have been working together for couple of years. We have been trying
to get an outreach going on the Westside of Mt. Pleasant to area children
with little response. After prayer, we decided to try again and flyers
were once again distributed to area children. Well, it came time for the
club to start and again no children had arrived until we heard a "little
knock" on the side door of the church. Peeking out the window, there was
one child standing there trying to get into an often unused locked door.
Excitedly, we let "Jose" in and started club. Jose was real interested
in the colors of the "Wordless Book" as I shared Christ's love for him
and how Jesus died on the cross for his sins. Jose happily accepted Christ
that day. Jose was the only one who came to club for the six weeks we
met but the Lord knew that he was the "right one" knocking.

I
have been having a school-release class in Clare (where children are dismissed
from school for one hour of Bible instruction every month at a local church)
with over 50 children coming to our class over the last few years. "Julie"
is one little girl that has come to our Bible class. She asked my husband,
Jim, one day, who was sitting with the children during our lesson time,
if she could have an offering envelope that was placed in the pew in front
of her. My husband told her that it was all right, if she needed it for
a reason. After class, Julie made her way to the front of the church to
see me. What she had in her hand she had a great desire to show me. Julie
handed me the offering envelope and wanted me to read it. Where it said
"amount given"' she had written "her heart". I am so thankful that Julie
gave her life to Jesus that day. |
I'm giving
You some tutorship on African Languages Via E-mail. As You May Well Know
My Family Is originally Burundian. Urakoze is a Burundian Word that is
really difficult to translate to English Coz I Know of no Word In English
that Could Express the Passion & Emotions that go with it originally.
In it's general interpretation it could be translated to Mean Thank You!
But the reall Meaning to Me goes beyond just the Usuall Thank You.
Urakoze
is a Word You can Use in a situation where someone pulls You Out from
a Lion's Mouth. It's Gratitude that comes with a Passion & Lots of Emotions.
URAKOZE is pronounced oo-ra-ko-ze. I Pray for Your Country at this crucial
stage & period It's going through. The Items I Mention Most When I appproach
the Throne Of Grace recently are
(i)Hurricane Frances- For those guys Affected in
Florida. For them to See God in all that's happening. For their comfort
& Safety.
ii)Your Up-Coming Presidential Elections-U.S Politics
Affect the Whole Globe. We are Trusting God For A God-Fearing-godly Government
& Administration. You Are A Big Blessing To Me!!!!!!!!
I Think Of You & the word that comes to Mind-is AGAPE
coz I See the Sacrificial & Unconditional Love Of God In You & Through
You. You guys have Beautiful Hearts!! After getting Your E-mail I Went
to the Post Office and found that Your Letter has already arrived. My
Rent Situation is a difficult one So Please Keep Praying For Us as We
serve Our Mighty King. He Knows Our Names & Our Needs. We Trust Him With
All We've got. You Are In Our Prayers. We Love You With The Love Of Christ!
Thank You For Being A Source Of Comfort To Us This side Of Heaven. I Mean
Every Word & Everything I've Written down Comes From The Bottom Of My
heart. God Bless You All,Your Marriage,Your Children & Your Ministry! AMEN!!
